Nursery

Sluiter Ellwoodii has been active in the business of conifers for more than 30 years. On an area of 12 ha, Sluiter Ellwoodii is propagating and cultivating coniferous trees in 9cm plastic containers.

Sluiter Ellwoodii is a nursery, mainly specialized in cultivating small, blue green Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Ellwoodii'. In addition twelve other varieties are grown used in a mixed tray for spring and autumn collection. Next to the production of coniferous trees, Sluiter Ellwoodii produces propagation material for other nurseries to cultivate in bigger pots. (e.g. tree cuttings and seedlings of Gaultheria procumbens). Delivery of the propagation material is done in a 108 plant tray. Due to the high level of mechanization, designed and made by "Sluiter Techniek Ltd", the nursery delivers uniform conifers of the highest quality.
